Meetings and Executive Retreats
The size and open layout of our holiday lodges makes them the ideal venue for small meetings, mini conferences or executive retreats (up to 10 or 12 participants). The setting of the resort gives that "away from it all" feeling which aids concentration and creativity.
Opening in early 2010 will be a purpose built, state of the art 500 sq foot conference room. This facility will seat some 16-18 people boardroom style, around 24 - 26 in classroom configuration and up to 38 theatre style. Attached are a selection of possible room configurations although we will happily work with meeting organizers to develop a layout to suit the requirements of any particular meeting or conference.
The following audio visual equipment will be supplied: ceiling mounted projector with wired in computer link, DVD player and sound system. A Satellite TV hook-up is available if required. The conference room will also be equipped with coffee point complete with coffee making facilities, white board/screen and flip charts. The conference room opens onto a large deck area which has views out over Deer Lake.
Lakeside lodge, to which the conference room is attached, is a 5 bedroom all en-suite lodge with an additional half bathroom. One of these bedrooms is disabled adapted. The lodge has three distinct lounge areas which are able to be used as "break-out" spaces by those attending conferences. Rental of the conference room brings with it the use of the lodge on the nights before and after the conference.
We are able to assist with the organization of catering or off-site dining for your meetings. We also have relationships with a number of local activity providers and can arrange for off site activities when you need a break from work or for team building purposes. We are able to arrange site-seeing activities for partners during a conference or pre- or post conference tours. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
From within our own resources we can offer up to 28 bedrooms for conference delegates. We are able to arrange additional accommodation should your meeting or conference require this. All accommodation is in individually lockable en-suite bedrooms.

Hearing Room
The conference room is an ideal size to be used as a hearing room for an arbitration, mediation or other type of quasi-judicial hearing. We can offer separate lodges to accommodate the different parties and the tribunal which allows for private break out and meeting space away from the hearing room.
If required we can provide daily maid service and work with local providers to arrange catering for the duration of the hearing.
Weddings and Special Events
Our luxury holiday lodges are the perfect venue for a small intimate wedding or other special gathering. Contact us to discuss your requirements and let us help you plan your special event.
The conference room referred to above is an ideal venue for the ceremony itself or for an intimate wedding breakfast.
If required we can assist with making banqueting arrangements through local catering companies or restaurants.
Workshops and Retreats
Our conference space will be the ideal location for a workshop or retreat as the conferencing furniture can be cleared away to leave a large, open, uninterrupted space which is flooded with natural light. It will be the perfect location for small gatherings or courses requiring a residential location for an extended event. It is well suited for activities such as a yoga retreat, an artists or writers workshop or a meditation retreat.
The luxury lodge to which this space is attached is in a secluded, lakefront location with direct access to the waters edge. It is an ideal location to relax, enjoy the event you are attending and let the creative juices flow.
As with a conference, booking this space for an event will bring with it the use of the luxury lodge to which it is attached. This includes for the night before and the night after the event. Additional accommodation is available in other lodges. All accommodation is in individually lockable en-suite bedrooms.
If required we are able to arrange full or partial catering during the event.
