This is a note we have been meaning to post for a couple of weeks. It seems to have been a slow start to the iceberg season this year.
There are reports of a number of bergs up around the coast of southern Labrador with a small number coming south to the northern tip of the Northern Peninsular but few have come further south than that. Current information shows just one iceberg in the Baie Verte/Twillingate area and that well offshore.
To get the latest information on iceberg location the website www.icebergfinder.com is the best reference source we have found.
