As the proprietors of The Lodges at Humber Valley Resort Simon and I are privileged to act as your hosts during your stay in one of our small group of select holiday lodges at Humber Valley Resort.

Simon and I are owners of one of the properties we rent out and we have banded together with 4 other like- minded owners to provide high quality holiday rentals.

We are committed to remaining a small boutique operation so that we can provide you, our guests, with a highly personal service and a memorable holiday experience.

We are proud of our 4 ½ star rating from Canada Select because we believe it recognizes our determination to provide quality accommodation and a high standard of service, chalet presentation and cleanliness. We will always strive to meet or exceed those standards and will work tirelessly to ensure that your holiday expectations are met.

Simon and I are New Zealanders who found Western Newfoundland ten years ago and fell in love with it. We built our property at Humber Valley Resort 6 years ago and 3 years ago we moved to Newfoundland and now live permanently across the lake from the resort (6 minutes away). We have chosen to settle in Humber Valley because of our love of the area and the lifestyle opportunities it offers. We look forward to sharing with you the many ways that you can take advantage of the beauty, culture and activities available here so you can return home refreshed and reinvigorated by your stay in this beautiful area.
